Yuko Suzuki

Yuko Suzuki is a PhD student at the Institute of Educational Technology. Being a TV Producer/Director by trade over the last decade, she is passionate about making science more comprehensible with the use of extra dimensions – 3D animation!

She is currently working on the development research of Augmented Reality (AR) content for more effective science learning using Microsoft HoloLens2 in the framework of Cognitive Loads and Affective States. Her evaluation method involves biometric-based approaches such as Electroencephalography (EEG) and Eye-tracking.

Originally from Japan, she studied philosophy and history of science at Kyoto University and Imperial College London, where her main research interests lay in the concepts of quantum mechanics and molecular biology.
