Prof Wild spoke today at the (en)coding heritage seminar series organized conjointly by Oxford University and Durham University – about how to augment human performance at scale. The line up also featured a presentation about a VR app based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist, developed by Oxford University in collaboration with the Oxfordshire County Council (presented by Abbey Palmer), as well as a talk about VR for middle school to teach English, History and Social Science given by Terje Pedersen and Sigrid Sjåstad from the Rothaugen Middle School in Bergen, Norway.
