Freshly appointed to IET as new chair, Prof Dr Fridolin Wild gave a featured plenary presentation on Monday morning, June 22nd, at the 6th International Conference of the Immersive Learning Research Network, iLRN’20.
Fridolin was speaking about how Augmented Reality promises to provide significant boosts to performance by making information available to learners in context, on task, and in real time. He introduced to the IEEE standard for Augmented Reality Learning Experience Models (ARLEM), which helps implement solutions that scale, facilitating aggregation of experience, performance tracking, and sharing. The presentation will introduce the standard and its benefits.
